The first Natural disaster hit Florida in last three years. After the heavy rainfall on Florida, Colin heads out to the Sea. It is reported that, Colin is no more a tropical storm and is moving towards the Atlantic. The National Hurricane Centre said that, Colin is now a “Post Tropical Cyclone”.

Tuesday at 5 pm EDT, the centre of the cyclone was 205 miles east-northeast of Cape Hetteras. It delivered the heaviest rainfall on Tuesday in north and south Carolina. In the mid-afternoon, the National Weather Service has given the storm warnings, though the flood watches are in effect in east central Florida. Tuesday Morning continuous heavy rainfall caused flood in Tampa. A mobile park home went underwater due to flood. The storm caused landfall in Florida on Monday night. The govt. Announced a state of emergency for more than half the counties in the Sunshine State. Public Works Administrator Claude Tankersley assured that  the sewage will be pumped about a quarter of a mile into the bay and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection was already notified about the discharge

Though the storm is out to sea,the forecasters said Colin may cause additional rainfall up or 5 cm across eastern north Carolina and about 13 cm in central Florida through Tuesday evening. The weather specialists expected the skies to be clear among the outer bans and that is going to be good news for the tourists for the early summer vacation.
