PM to address ‘India Ideas Summit’ by US-India Business Council tonight

The Prime Minister of the country is going to address at the India Ideas Summit 2020 tonight. This is organized by US-India Business Council. This summit I going to be done virtually. Prime Minister wants to share his views on building a better future.

The India Ideas Summit is coming this year as well but virtually. This year the summit is hosted by USIBC or the US- India Business Council. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to address at this summit at 9 PM tonight. The summit is going to be virtual because of the ongoing pandemic.

It’s the 45th year anniversary of the US-India Business Council, this year. Just like every year this year also has a theme. This year’s theme is Building a Better Future for both the nations.

Many delegates from both the nations are going to be present in this summit. The summit is going to be held virtually and more high level officials can join the summit. There are going to be different officials from various fields like policy makers from the government, officials of states and many more. How can we have a business summit without the leaders of Business and Society. Officials of high-level are going to be present from both sides of the nation.

Some of the officials who are going to be present in the summit are US secretary Mike Pompeo, Narendra Modi and also former United States Ambassador to the United Nation Nikki Haley. There are going to be many other delegates present.

From India there are Union Ministers who are also going to be a part of the virtual summit. Nirmala Sitharaman is one among them and she shared her excitement on twitter as well. She mentioned that the summit is a good chance to discuss the post-pandemic world for both India and United States of America. The summit is also supposed to include the cooperation of both the nations and also the relation between the two nations.

Other Union Ministers who are going to be a part of this summit are Piyush Goyal and Nitin Gadkari.

Nitin Gadkari expressed his views on the summit as well mentioned how unemployment is a huge crisis right now and how it can solve poverty by creating more jobs. He also mentioned how foreign investments can help the MSME’s, banks and infrastructure and can be helpful in creating jobs. The virtual summit can be a way of India and United States of America getting into a better relationship.

Talking about the MSME and employment, the Finance Minister of the country, Nirmala Sitharaman said that there are some green signals being seen in the economy of the country. This was possible because of the package provided by the government to small businesses which are making big differences in businesses as everyone is still learning to cope up with the effects of the businesses being shut because of the lockdown.

There’s also a trade agreement between the nations, India and United States and looks the trade deal is going to be closed after two long years of negotiations. Piyush Goyal mentioned that the trade deal has some of the pending matters between the nations which were just building up and they have been trying to get it out of the way quickly and it also looks like they are almost there.
