Miami Beach police are probing the collapse of a 12-storey building on Monday during a destruction that left one person critically injured.
According to a tweet by a police department, the victim was taken to the hospital.
As per the tweet the building had "a demolition permit, not an implosion permit."
The 12-story Marlborough House, situated at Collins Ave and 57th street, was to be torn down for construction of a new oceanfront building.
Traffic was as well closed in the area. The spectators caught on camera the minute the edifice collapsed.
