Analysis

Okkadu Migiladu Movie Review, Rating, Story, Cast and Crew

Okkadu Migiladu has been overloaded with huge dose of action and right from the first frame, the violence looks extremely disturbing. The struggles of Srilankan Tamilians has been well narrated but it doesn't appeal to everyone. The first half of the movie has been short but fails to impress the audience. Manoj shines with perfection in the assigned roles.

The second half of Okkadu Migiladu dips down further and is completely focussed on the struggles of the Tamilians. The film lacks commercial elements and entertainment because of which Okkadu Migiladu will not be accepted by everyone. Refugees dying one after another in the boat looks not convincing and they are dragged much. On the whole, Okkadu Migiladu second half fails to impress the audience.

Performance

Manchu Manoj tops the show with his outstanding and fearless performance throughout the film in two different roles. Okkadu Migiladu will stand as one of the finest films in the actor's career. Anisha Ambrose has been extremely impressive with her performance. Director Ajay has been convincing in his supporting role and Posani Krishna Murali has been impressive. All the other actors have been outstanding.

The story of Okkadu Migiladu looks decent but it is the narration that misses the row. The screenplay looks confusing and is completely focussed on violence. The dialogues have been decent and the background score elevates the film. The production values look lavish and Ajay Andres steps out with a ruggish script which has been laced with loads of violence.

Final Word

Okkadu Migiladu falls flat in impressing the audience. Huge dose of violence and poor second half are the reasons. Manchu Manoj shines in the assigned roles.
