Before leaving India for the tour of Bangladesh, Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli on Sunday made it clear that there are no grudges against Bangladesh, referring to the 2015 ICC World Cup.

India defeated Bangladesh by 109 runs in 2015 World-Cup quarter finals. But many Cricket Officials and fans of Bangladesh were not able to digest the loss and blamed it on bad umpiring decisions. Even ICC President Mustafa Kamal, who hails from Bangladesh, also joins the bandwagon of threatening Umpires for the loss. This gained the prominence for the issue. But Kamal faced an unexpected thump, when ICC ignores him in the presentation ceremony of World Cup Finals. Kamal got humiliated by the insult and responded with a resignation.

But now, before the Bangladesh Series, Team India tries to minimize the impact of that incident and looking forward to start the series on a “clean Slate”. “There are no grudges with the opposition,” said Kohli about the incident.

India will play the lone-Test at Fatullah from June 10-14. After the Test a three-match ODI series is also lined up, which will be played at Mirpur. The 1st ODI will be played on June 18, 2nd ODI on June 21 and the final ODI on June 24.
