Summer is the time when your gut craves for something light, nice and easily digestible. Hence, it's recommended to include as many cooling ingredients into your daily meals to help your body beat the heat better. Use one of your most favorite summer-time ingredient curd into a lip-smacking side dish to go along with your lunch or dinner with this cucumber raita (kheere ki raita) recipe. For details, read on:

Ingredients

1/2 onion chopped

1/2 cucumber chopped

Salt to flavor

A bowl of curd

1/2 tsp red chilli powder

1 lemon

Handful coriander leaves chopped

 

Instructions

In a bowl, take the beaten curd, add onion, cucumber and lemon juice.

Sprinkle some salt and red chilli powder and add finely chopped coriander leaves.

Mix well and serve garnished with a sprig of mint.
