Five Million Ukrainian Refugees Fled from the Country

It is close to two months ever since Russia's invasion of Ukraine started. Close to five million Ukrainians fled from the country after the war commenced in February. More than half of them are children as per the reports from the United Nations. Russian troops issued an ultimatum for the people of Mariupol to surrender or die and the deadline expired yesterday. More than 1000 civilians are trapped in a steel plant in the city told Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine. Russia is slowly taking a grip on the major cities of Ukraine. Russian forces have now got the hold of 80 percent of the Luhansk region in Donbas.

Ukraine offered to negotiate with Russia without any conditions in Mariupol as per the latest update. Ukraine revealed that they are ready to hold a special round of negotiations with Russia. Ukraine negotiator and presidential aide Mykhailo Podolyak told this on Twitter. "Yes. Without any conditions. We're ready to hold a 'special round of negotiations' right in Mariupol. One on one. Two on two. To save our guys, Azov, military, civilians, children, the living & the wounded. Everyone. Because they are ours. Because they are in my heart. Forever". posted Mykhailo. The Russia is yet to respond for the proposal of Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin told that the enemies will think twice about war with Russia.
