One individual was killed and another was basically harmed Sunday in a shooting in Winter Haven, as indicated by the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded at 6:22 p.m. to a residence on Carefree Cove Drive.

When deputies arrived, they found 23-year-old Nasir Sutton dead with a gunshot wound. Another man, 38-year-old Bennie Joiner, had at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

According deputies, the shooting stemmed from an argument at the residence. A suspect arrived at the residence, started arguing with the two men and fired shots. The Sheriff's Office has not named the suspect.
