Six Juveniles Accused For Stealing Porsche And Cash

Six juveniles accused foe steaking Porsche and also home burglary in the month of April on the North Hutchinson Island, said the St. Luce County Sheriff’s Office on Monday.

The six juveniles, from the the Fort Lauderdale area are accused of home burglarizing in the 200th block of Marina Drive on 27th April and also stealing a 2014 Porsche Cayman. The stolen vehicle has been recovered days later in the Delray Beach.

In addition, the teens also stole a safe containing more than $200,000 in cash and two handguns, the sheriff’s office said.

The names of the teens cannot be revealed because they are juveniles who are not charged as adults. Among the juveniles, one was taken into custody by the Fort Lauderdale police in the month of May for an unrelated charge.

The teen reportedly told to St. Lucie County investigators that he was with a group from the Broward County which planned to travel to the Orlando area in order to rob a house. They stopped in the Fort Pierce and traveled to the Hutchinson Island. The teens had knocked on several doors to see whether anyone was home, said the sheriff’s investigators.

Suspects face the charges that include armed burglary of a dwelling, grand theft of a motor vehicle and grand theft of a firearm.
