Woman killed in Delhi Metro station shootout!

On Tuesday, a 25-year-old woman was killed and her father critically injured after her husband allegedly shot them outside the Karkardooma Metro station in east Delhi, a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

According to a CISF official, the incident took place around 12.10pm outside the Karkardooma Metro station where five empty cartridges and a double-barrel rifle have been recovered from the spot.

The official added that the accused is on the run and he fled the spot after the shooting, leaving his car outside the Metro station.

The official said that the woman, Deepti, and her father, 55-year-old Bishan Das, were shot from behind.

Deepti was rushed to the Deepak Memorial Hospital where she was declared dead whereas Bishen Das is undergoing treatment at the Hedgewar Arogya Sansthan Hospital.

Fact-fully, he is a resident of Chirag Dilli in south Delhi who told police that there was a marital discord between Deepti and her husband.

To conclude, a Delhi Metro official said that passenger services were not affected. The CISF looks after security at all Delhi Metro stations. Pawan Kumar's body was found hanging from a tree close to a railway station in Uttar Pradesh's Muradnagar city.

Today, killing has become a child’s play and the only way!

It's mournful indeed!
