Superstar Rajinikanth scored a remarkable hit with Kabali last year and he has been working hard to wrap up the shoot of his next movie titled 2.0. The movie is said to be the sequel of Robo and top director Shankar is directing the film. The movie is being made on a budget of Rs 400 crores and it has enough dose of VFX effects throughout the film. Amy Jackson is the heroine in this movie and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will be seen as the lead antagonist in 2.0.

The update is that the first teaser of the film will be released on April 14th on the eve of Tamil New Year. The released first look is already a huge sensation and the expectations are huge on the film. Lyca Productions is producing 2.0 and the film will release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi in 3D. AR Rahman is the music composer and Rajini will be seen in three completely different roles in 2.0.
