Analysis

Jaguar Movie Review

The first half of Jaguar has its moments and it starts on an interesting mode. The entertainment has been well balanced and the songs have been average. Some of the episodes make the audience curious however the film lacks an interesting screenplay. The performaces by the lead actors has been pretty average which fails to elevate the film. On the whole the first half of Jaguar has been decent but not much interesting.

The second half of the movie follows a regular commercial formatt of Telugu movies which fails to impress the audience. The songs have been decent and the entertainment levels come down. The forced comedy devaites the major plot of the film and the climax has been completely predictable. Jaguar has a routine plot which fails to impress the audience big time.

Performance

Nikhil Kumar has been ok and he needs to improve a lot in terms of performance. His look has been decent but he needs to work on his body language to excel on screen. Deepti has been impressive in her role and she has been glamorous when needed. Jagapathi Babu has been stupendous as a CBI officer and Sampath Raj has been outstanding. All the other actors have been decent in their roles.

The story of Jaguar has been completely outdated and predictable. The screenplay has been loose and not penned well. The dialogues have been decent and the music  has been apt. The cinematography of Jaguar is the major highlight of the film and the lighting in each and every frame elevated the movie good enough. The production values have been extra lavish and Mahadev opts out with a routine flick which may not appeal to most of the audience.

Final Word

Jaguar has been made on a lavish budget but the plot and the narration should have taken enough care of to make the film impressive.
